Livepeer Cloud is proud to announce the alpha release of the integration between Livepeer and Owncast.

This integration enables the feature called "Stream Relay" which enables self-hosted Owncast instances to relay their stream to a remote transcoding service like the Livepeer Cloud gateway, powered by the Livepeer Protocol.

This project has been under construction since November of 2023 and is now ready for Owncast users to take advantage. You can download the release on Github or use the docker image from Docker Hub. For detailed instructions visit our Getting Started guide.
